Q. When initially powered up, it looks not work. Remoter does not work either.
If the unit has not been used ab. a week or more, this unit will self check up and charge TRC part when powered up. It takes ab. 30 mintues.
It is because the camera is not mounted so it activates the blackbox when the unit is shaking or moving away.
Q. No warning made when cross the lane
1) Check if the camera is set in proper angle able to read the lanes
Press Angle button on the remote to review your angle setting
2) Check if the camera lid is removed
Q. No sound comes out from the unit
1) Check if the power cord is firmly connected.
2) Check if all features are disabled
3) Check if mute button or Min. sound level is set.
Q. Warning is issued, but lane not crossed
1) Check if the sensitivity level is too high.
2) Check if the camera angle is right
LDWS is a vision based warning system so if there is the condition the camera can not track like paint-erased line or snow covered road, it may not recoginize the lane appropriately.
Q. Warning is made and noisy to me some time even I cross the lane intendedly
1) because the turn signal is not connected
2) if the turn signal connected, you don't turn on the turn signal before crossing the lane.
3) If the speed meter is connected (as recommended professional install), the warning is issued
only over 60km/h(37mile/h)
Q. It works at night ?
Yes. it works well as much as at day time. Due to some limit of hume eyes at night, the LDWS is more useful at night time driving. RoadScope Plus uses an artificial intelligent algorithm to track the lanes in vague image conditions like at night or bad weather.
Q. It work well on all slightly different roads ?
The line thickness and width differ from road to road and paint color or shape of lane marking vary. But RoadScope Plus has the special software algorithm to work accordingly. RoadScope Plus had been tested and verified over 300,000km for more than 4 years on various road conditions in Japan, korea and United States.
Q. Does It work if it rain or snow ?
Well. Depending on the specific conditions. It may work properly if the driver is able to see the lanes. However if the driver can not distingish the lines, RoadScope Plus has difficulty finding lane too. In this conditions, it is designed not to issue the warning.
Q. LDWS is a useful device for the investment ?
A lof of tests and studies from the DOT to the universities has been made already. DOT recommends LDWS to reduce the fatal accidents on the highway.
