The Lane Keeping Assistant is the feature to help the beginner driver to keep in the lane.
If the vehicle keeps running left side, right or center of the lane for more than 5 seconds, the notification is issued to let the driver know the lateral position of the vehicle. This mode is activated only wider than 3.3 meter of the road.

The camera mounted behind the room mirror on the windshield tracks the lane markings real time, sends the visual data to the on board small computer and warns the driver on time if the vehicle is about to drift out of the lane.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA), more than 1.5 millions of the car accidents are caused by drowsy or distracted driving.
A study funded by the AAA Foundation found that 100 percent of the drivers while driving on a three hour trip became distracted at some time. A large 97.1 percent took
their eyes off the road to reach or lean for something and 91.4 percent played with their
sound system.

This Car BlackBox is the extra feature only available on RoadScope's LDWS, acting like the aircraft one. It is designed to record the digital video and the car data of the accident 12 seconds before the accident and 6 seconds thereafter. This data can easlily download thru USB like the digital camera on the computer. You may submit the event data to the court or insurance company.

On the traffic stop, it emits the audio sound within one second the vehicle ahead moves from the stop. But no sound will be made if your own vehicle moves right after
the front vehicle as 3-axis accelerometer detects the movement of your vehicle too.
